Penelope will utilise her years of interior design experience and in-depth understanding of colour psychology to create a colour palette that will enable you to use colour with confidence.
Harmonious colours within the right palette will create the ambience that you desire. Colours are also supportive of different psychological needs for instance it is good to use some blue in a study because blue is the colour of intelligence. However, it is essential to use the right shade to ensure that the blue doesn’t become cold or bureaucratic. Response to colour is never to one colour only, it is a response to all colours presented. The importance is the relationship between the tones of colours used. A wrong colour choice can throw an otherwise well-coordinated design scheme out of sync.

About Our Home Visits
Your home visit includes a discussion of your decorating plans, your colour preferences and also how to create harmony given the light, space and the style of your home.
Moreover, a consultation is tailored for your individual needs so can include fabrics choices, wallpapers and paint finishes too, should you choose.
Following the consultation, you will receive a written recommendation of your colour schemes. This will be a palette of well-balanced colours that harmonise with each other and throughout your home.
Consultancy Fees
Colour Consultation for up to 1.5 hours to include the written recommendation £85.
Additional time is charged in 30 minute increments at £35 per hour.
